Scheme of work to stabilize the stones of the Stringcourse for first and second court, St Johns College. Cambridge

The programme of conservation work included the cleaning, consolidation, cutting out of unstable cement repairs, capping and lime mortar repairs and full documentation.

The work was carried out with Jonathan Kemp and a team of six conservators summer 2008.

The work followed a ‘Technical Survey of the external polychrome sculpture and architectural carving at St Johns College’ carried out collaboratively with Tobit Curteis Associates in 2002.
